This shot is from within the New Village Place apartment complex on Roberson Street. This is a 100 unit project that was completed within the last 3 years and is one of the prime rental properties located one street off of N. High Street right in the heart of the Short North.

It's hard to tell from this distance but what you are looking at is the construction of the foundation for The Lofts at Jeffrey Place that got underway a couple weeks back. As with most of Jeffrey Place, it is hard to tell what is going on on the site from the road as you drive by, so I dropped in for a closer look.

Here is one of our first looks at the inner blocks of Italian Village. This is the intersection of Summit Street and East Second Avenue. From this spot we can see the New Village Place apartment development and St. Jospesh Montessori School. Directly to the rear of the starting postion of the panorama is a large parcel that has a number of homes planned for it. You can see one being constructed in the distance.
